Thanksgiving Week
Whew, the past week has been a bit of a whirlwind. Let me update you on what's new.
We got sheep!!! They are the cutest, furriest & tamest little critters.
We're working on taming Esme. She's still very people-shy. My family along with our church friends are doing a live nativity in our barn next month and Esme will (hopefully) play the role of a camel. :)
Last week, I spent most of the week out of town helping my cousin get things
ready for her wedding which was this past Saturday. The wedding was beautiful.
I was so grateful that our first snow waited to hit until after I was safely home on Saturday evening. The snow continued into Sunday and we stayed cozy inside by building a fire in the fireplace and sipping hot drinks.
When I got home from work today, I finished up these simple
Thanksgiving favors for my extended family's Christmas Dinner on Friday.
I'm a bit sad about not spending Thanksgiving weekend at home, but excited to see relatives! May all of you have a blessed Thanksgiving weekend! We are truly blessed and have SO very much to be grateful for and to thank God for.
Blessings, Janae

More Page Titles
I have been busy making page titles today and the last little while.
Here is my cozy "play area" on this cloudy day.
Here are a few shots of the titles I finished today.
And for the Sister titles, I have 3 different wordings to choose from.
*Sisters
*My Sister
*My Sisters
All of these are getting packaged up and traveling to Lancaster tomorrow and will hopefully be at Farmhouse Memories ready to sell at the end of the week. Next, I'll be working on Son & Grandson page titles with trucks on them! What page titles would you like to see?
Happy Wednesday!

Creative Bible
Good Afternoon!
Who knew it could still be this warm at the end of September?! I'm sad to see summer coming to a close, but excited about a new season!
So, adult coloring books have been a hot item for quite a while now, and I'm sure most of you own one, if not more than one! It's supposed to be a stress reliever and helps you relax!
Recently, I entered a giveaway and won a creative Bible. This Bible has verses enlarged on the side margins for you to color and decorate! It's like an adult coloring book, except it's verses in a Bible! I just think it's SO neat and had to share it with you!
So here is what my afternoon looked like for a few minutes today.
That's my prayer for today.
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."
-Psalm 51:10
Enjoy your afternoon!

What I'm Working On...
I made this scrapbook page last week and today I've been working on making page kits of the page for Rachel to sell in her store. The background image and the little Mickey Mouse images I cut out using the Brother Scan N Cut machine. The "Adventure" was also done with the Scan N Cut.
Also, who says fall decor needs to cost anything? I made this "blessings" banner for our mantle this week using only supplies I had on hand. The little flags are a neutral colored fabric on sticky paper. The string is twine that I had and the letters are black paper cut on the Cricut machine. I was happy with the end result.
What have you been up to lately?

Alpacas...
I am a very happy owner of these 3 alpacas that arrived on the farm on Saturday!
Comment with name suggestions! :) I've been out helping them get adjusted to their new home, so there's been no time for crafting today. :)

It bothers me that there are spots on our property that I feel like I haven't properly appreciated yet. The top of the hay field, or the front porch, or the swing in the backyard are my favorite spots for quiet time, but today I convinced myself to branch out and try a new spot for today's quiet time and this one on the hill overlooking part of our driveway just may get added to my favorites. Basically, I just love every little corner of this place.
In other news, I made these key chains this afternoon, and they will get added to my Etsy shop a bit later today. Here is the link

Wishing everyone a wonderful Tuesday!

What I'm Currently Working On...
What have I been up to? A few weeks ago, I ordered a stack of prints from my favorite printing company Mpix. This week I sorted the pictures I want to scrapbook and even got a page completed. I haven't scrapbooked any events in 2016 yet. I've been super duper busy with our move and feel like I'm now finally catching my breath a bit.
I was happy with this end result. These are photos from this past winter, and the many many hours we spent painting our new house.

I loved that I saved some of the paint samples we used, and was able to incorporate them into my page. In my opinion, this is better than any embellishments I could have bought. As I show more of my scrapbook pages in the future, you may notice that I rarely use embellishments. Paper is my first love and that is mainly what I use. If too many embellishments are used, they take away from the photo and when people look at my scrapbook pages, I want their eye to go straight to the photo, not the embellishments. Another key thing for me is journaling on the pages. I try to make that a priority. Photos can mean so much more if you know the story behind the photos!
What's your opinion on my latest scrapbook page? Any tips or ideas? I would love to hear from you!
